Christopher P. Yates is a Senior Attorney of the Firm who concentrates his practice in residential real estate/conveyancing, commercial lending, land use permitting/zoning, estate planning and trust formation, estate and trust administration, and business and corporate formation.

Prior to joining Brooks & DeRensis, P.C., Mr. Yates worked for Fletcher Tilton, P.C. for 9 years as an Officer of the firm. Prior to Fletcher Tilton, P.C., Mr. Yates owned his own law firm for 13 years, Yates Law Offices, P.C., in Hudson, MA.

Mr. Yates is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Commonwealth and U.S. District Court of Massachusetts.
Personal and Community Activities
A lifelong resident of Hudson, Mr. Yates has been active in the community. Mr. Yates is a current member and three-time Chair of the Hudson School Committee, the current Vice President of the Hudson Youth Football and Cheer Association, Inc., a former member and two-time Vice-chair of the Hudson Select Board, and a former member of the Hudson Zoning Board of Appeals. Mr. Yates was also a former Race Day Director for The Governor Cellucci Tribute 5K Road Race which raised research funds for the UMASS ALS Cellucci Fund in the name of Hudson native, and former Governor and Ambassador to Canada, A. Paul Cellucci. Mr. Yates was also a founding member of the Jennifer Hunter Yates Sarcoma Foundation, Inc.
Education
Mr. Yates received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Assumption College and his Juris Doctor degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law.
