Residential real estate paralegal Steven Schalk supports and manages the documentation for most of the Firm’s residential real estate transactions. A quick study, he leverages the experience of past transactions when feasible and, where necessary, finds the most effective and practical solutions for unique situations. Steven’s down time these days is happily focused on the joys of parenting two young children.
Work for Brooks & DeRensis
Steven’s area of expertise focuses on conveyance documentation for the sale of residential real estate. Not limited to only the drafting of documents, his work also encompasses projects involving, among other things, researching and addressing title matters using the resources of various County Registries of Deeds, municipal property tax issues, and related corporate matters involving filings with the Massachusetts Secretary of the Commonwealth. Steven also provides litigation support including the drafting and filing of court documents for both State and Federal matters.

Steven has been continuously developing his skills as a real estate paralegal in Massachusetts since 2015, working for three firms in the Boston and Newton areas during that time.
Interests
Steven is an avid consumer of Cleveland sports media, an adventurous cook, and he is the proud father of two children. Most of all he enjoys helping his children experience the world and watching them grow into their own personalities.
